CER-10 High Frequency PCB
Introduction
CER-10 is an organic-ceramic laminate from Taconic’s ORCER product
family. With dielectric constant of 10 and low dissipation factor
of 0.0035 at 10 GHz. It features a woven glass reinforcement,
combining Taconic’s advanced ceramic fill technology with coated
PTFE fiberglass expertise.
Features
CER-10 delivers exceptional interlaminar bond strength and solder
resistance, making it ideal for high-performance applications.
With a ultra-low moisture absorption of just 0.02%, it ensures
stable electrical performance even in humid conditions.
Its woven glass reinforcement provides outstanding dimensional
stability and enhanced flexural strength.
CER-10 also features optimized Z-axis expansion of 46 ppm/°C, a
critical feature that protects plated through-holes and enhances
reliability in extreme temperature cycling environments..
It also demonstrates low outgassing, with a total mass loss of just
0.02%, collected volatile condensable materials of 0.01%, and water
vapor regain of 0.01% per ASTM E 595.
Tested to UL 94,CER-10 meets stringent safety requirements of V-0.
